Who it’s for
Web design for Melbourne service businesses.
We build websites for businesses that sell a service and need the site to produce enquiries or bookings: salons and clinics, counselling and allied health practices, trades, consultants and agencies. The site has to explain what you do in a customer’s words, make the next step obvious on a phone, and show you where enquiries came from.
It’s a good fit if your current site is hard to use on a phone, if you can’t change a sentence without emailing someone, if nobody can tell you which pages bring in work, or if you’re about to replace a site that already ranks on Google and can’t afford to lose that.
It’s probably not a fit if you need something live this week, or you want a template with your logo dropped in. Shisir, the founder, leads every build from discovery to launch.
What’s included
What’s included in a website build.
Discovery covering offer, audience, conversion goals and the metric we’ll measure against
Wireframes and copy before visual design. Structure first, polish second
Visual design tailored to your brand, not a template
Built in Shopify, Webflow or custom (Astro / Next.js) depending on what your business actually needs
Performance checked before launch: images resized and served as WebP, pages tested on a phone-sized screen
A redirect map and SEO parity check whenever the new site replaces one that already ranks
Tag Manager, GA4, Microsoft Clarity and Search Console configured before the site goes live
3 months of free post-launch support on full rebuilds
How it runs · four stages, in order
How we design and build your website.
The engagement
Launch is the start, not the finish. SEO keeps the new site found, analytics and GA4 tracking shows what it earns, and email and CRM flows follow up the enquiries it brings in.
Site migrations
Redesigning without losing Google rankings.
A redesign is the easiest time to lose search traffic you spent years earning. We moved our own site to a new build in September 2026 under the rules we use for clients:
- Ranking pages keep their details. Path, title, meta description and canonical stay the same, unless a redirect covers the change.
- Missing pages say so. A URL that no longer exists returns a real 404 or a permanent redirect, not a blank page that tells Google everything is fine.
- One version of each address. No-slash addresses redirect to the slash version.
- Checked live. Every sitemap URL was requested on the live domain after deploy.
On a larger WordPress rebuild with years of blog posts, the same checks had to pass before anything was deployed: redirects generated from one list, and a script comparing every known URL’s title and meta description with the original.
Platforms
Platforms we build on, and why.
- WordPress when your team already knows it and wants to edit pages without us. We rebuilt and migrated a US marketing agency’s site onto a setup its owner manages herself.
- Shopify if you sell physical products. We built and still run a Shopify ecommerce store.
- A custom static site hosted on Cloudflare Pages, built with Astro or plain build scripts, when speed, security and low running costs matter most. This site is one. If you want to publish without a developer, we add a headless CMS such as Payload, and a change goes live after a short automatic rebuild.
- The tools you already use. We connect your existing booking system rather than building a new one. A Melbourne beauty studio we built for takes bookings through its online booking system, straight from its site.
Accessibility
Accessible by default, including the forms.
The rebuild for a US counselling organisation was accessibility-led. The same standards go into every build:
- Hidden form sections are also disabled, so a keyboard or screen reader can’t land in them.
- Spam protection with Cloudflare Turnstile instead of picture puzzles.
- Pages checked in a real browser at several screen widths, before launch and again on the live site.
Your part
What we need from you.
- One person who can make decisions and approve copy.
- Access to your domain, current host, Google Business Profile, Analytics and Search Console, added as a user rather than shared passwords.
- Your logo files, photos and any brand guidelines. If the photos won’t work, we’ll say so early.
- A list of the tools you already use: booking system, CRM, email platform.
Pricing
What a website costs.
Most projects fall between A$6,500 and A$23,000+, plus GST. The price moves with page count, integrations, copywriting and whether an existing site has to be migrated.
There are three build tiers: Refresh improves your current site, Rebuild is a new website with a redirect plan, and Growth Setup sets up the website, tracking and marketing together. Compare the build tiers.

Common questions
Web design FAQs.
Shopify if you sell physical products. Webflow if you sell services and want content control. Custom (Astro) if SEO at scale or programmatic pages matter.
We deploy to Cloudflare Pages or your existing host. Hosting stays in your name, with no lock-in.

It can, if URLs, titles and redirects are handled carelessly. We keep the path, title, meta description and canonical of every page that ranks, redirect anything that has to move, and check every known URL on the live site after launch.
Yes. On WordPress and Shopify you edit pages in the normal admin. On a custom static site we add a content editor if you want one. Publishing then triggers a short rebuild before the change goes live.
Full rebuilds include 3 months of free post-launch support. After that you can move to a monthly Care plan or come back when you need something.
Yes. The domain, hosting account, code and analytics sit in your business’s name. We work through access you give us, not accounts we control.
